Hosting Thanksgiving Tips

November is here and that means people are going to be inviting you over for Thanksgiving or you’re going to have to start inviting people over to your apartment to share a meal and celebrate the holiday! Hosting can be difficult, which is why we’ve decided to share with you some tips in this week’s Peachtree Place Blog.
Clean Up
Before inviting anyone over, you’re going to want to make sure your home is presentable! Cleaning up before hosting is the perfect way to ensure that your home’s first impression is a good one. Start with the spaces your guests are going to use, including the living room, kitchen, and the bathroom! We’re confident that once you start cleaning, you’re not going to want to stop, so go ahead and clean your whole home!
Prepare in Advance
If you’re going to have a large number of guests over, we suggest prep the ingredients for the dishes you’re going to make in advance so that you’re not spending too much time on the day of doing all the preparation work. Doing so will save you time and allow you to spend more time with your friends and family rather than in the kitchen!
Decorate
Because it’s the Thanksgiving holiday, make your home a little more inviting by decorating! Centerpieces, door wreaths, and mantelpiece decor are all perfect choices to give your home that Thanksgiving feel! Earthy colors like orange, browns, and yellows bring the fall mood give your home a more cozy atmosphere. The stores are full of decorations, but if you’re looking to be a little more crafty, you can try a little Do-It-Yourself action!
