Welcome back to the Peachtree Place Blog! In this week’s post, we are highlighting one of the lesser known holidays in March: National Chip and Dip Day on the 23rd! Celebrate by making one of these amazing dips and enjoying them with your favorite type of chips while relaxing in your apartment here in Columbia, SC.

Spinach Artichoke Dip from Genius Kitchen

This is a classic creamy dip loved by many. Ingredients include parmesan cheese, chopped frozen spinach (thawed and drained), artichoke hearts, sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, and minced garlic. Serve with chips, crackers or toasted bread.

Smoked Salmon Dip from Food Network

A smooth and creamy dip, this one features the bold flavors of smoked salmon and a blend of other spices. Here is everything you will need to make it: cream cheese, lemon juice, minced fresh dill, horseradish, kosher salt, ground black pepper, and minced smoked salmon. Serve with chips, fresh veggies, or crackers for dipping.

Spicy Chicken Enchilada Dip from The Cookie Rookie

This Mexican-inspired dip has just the right amount of kick to it to wake up your taste buds! You’ll love this flavorful dip that will remind you of a cheesy chicken enchilada. Ingredients include chopped rotisserie chicken, cream cheese, black beans, Mexi-corn, Rotel tomatoes, hot enchilada sauce, hot and spicy taco seasoning, shredded queso chihuahua cheese, and chopped cilantro for garnish. Best served and enjoyed with tortilla chips.

Hatch Chile con Queso from The Brewer and The Baker

This white queso dip is made with hatch chiles for the perfect spicy kick! To make it, you will need the following ingredients: olive oil, chopped white onion, minced garlic, roasted and seeded hatch chiles, milk, shredded white American cheese, shredded Monterey jack cheese, salt, and pepper. Serve with your favorite brand of store-bought or homemade tortilla chips!
