Thanksgiving Drinks

The food of Thanksgiving is usually the star of the show, leaving the drinks as second fiddle. As you’re diving into mountains of delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, and other side dishes, you’re going to reach for a glass of something to drink, so might as well make that drink delicious! In this week’s Peachtree Place Blog, we’ve got a short list of drinks you could serve for your Thanksgiving party, we hope you try some of them out.
Mulled Cranberry Apple Cider

4 cups cranberry juice blend or cranberry cocktail

4 cups apple cider or apple juice

Peel of 1 orange, cut in large strips

1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced

2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks

Optional sweeteners: honey, brown sugar, or sucanat

Sparkling Berry Apple Mocktail

3 oz apple cider

3 oz sparkling water

12 oz frozen mixed berries

3/4 cup granulated sugar

Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

5-6 scoops pumpkin ice cream (or vanilla), slightly softened

1/8 to 1/4 cup pumpkin puree

4-5 pieces of pumpkin pie crust scraps, baked and cooled
