Write a Holiday Card

It may seem a little old fashioned to write a holiday card, but they can be a good way to send holiday greetings and let your friends and family know how much you love and care about them. Cards are a simple and easy way to express love and gratitude. In this week’s Peachtree Place Blog, we’ve got a few tips for you on how you can write some better holiday cards.
Make Your Own Card
Though it’s simple to go to the store to buy a card, it can be lacking in personality. It’s not difficult to make a card, but it can require some creativity. Making your card allows you to add things that will be unique to the person you’re giving the card to. Understandably, if you’re going to be giving cards to many people, it could be a little too much work to create your own card for every single one of them.
Make It Personal
Regardless of if you make the holiday cards or purchase them in bulk, what you write in it will be more important than how it looks. Instead of writing a generic sentence wishing holiday wishes, use first names and include a personal story or anecdote if you so choose.
Deliver It in Person
This tip only works for those you’re giving cards to in the local Columbia, SC area, or if you’re headed to a separate place for the holidays. Delivery of holiday cards provides you a way to see the people you’re giving them to and to catch up with them! As most people you wish to give cards to may not be close by, you may have to settle for sending the cards through the mail, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.
